How often have you admonished yourself for never taking guitar lessons when you were young. Well, there is nothing stopping you now. No one is ever too old to learn the joy of playing music. You come back the following week and the teacher will expect you to know what you were told to practice until it could be played error free. If you are having difficulty, the progression in classes will stop until you have achieved the goal set for you. This same rule must be applied to online teaching or you will never be adept at playing this beautiful instrument.
Some people have a hard time looking at themselves and seeing where their faults are. If motivation is not part of your emotional; makeup, it may be best to not undertake online assignments. Maybe you will find you need that instructor discipline that will carry you over the difficult times.

Allow for this to become a habitual pattern that you will follow throughout the term of the lessons.
